Does CheckinPlace track me in the background?
Only if you grant location access, and only to record your own trips on your own device — see the Privacy Policy for details.
Is my data backed up anywhere?
No — everything is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, your trips go with it, so it's worth using Share/Export before you do.
How do I delete a trip or a whole Holiday?
Open Trips, find the trip or Holiday, and use the delete option in its menu. This can't be undone.
What are Coins and Reels?
Coins are purchased through the App Store and used to unlock Reels — a short video playback of a trip you can save or share. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple.
