Agreement

By downloading or using CheckinPlace ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use CheckinPlace on devices you own or control, for your own personal use, subject to Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement and these terms.

Your content

Trips, photos, and notes you create in CheckinPlace remain yours. Since everything is stored locally on your device, you're responsible for backing up anything you don't want to lose — CheckinPlace does not keep a copy anywhere else.

In-app purchases

Your first Reel is free. Additional Coins are purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system and are consumed when used to unlock a Reel. Coins have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money. All purchases are subject to Apple's own refund policies — we cannot issue refunds directly.

Acceptable use

Use CheckinPlace only for lawful purposes. Don't try to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app in a way that could harm it or other users.

No warranty

CheckinPlace is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate — for example, automatically detected stops or routes may occasionally be wrong.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheckinPlace and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
